ACL Manager R3ADY for Joomla 3!

Thursday, 27 September 2012

Joomla 3 R3ADYLater today Joomla! 3.0 will be released, and ACL Manager is R3ADY for it! The code of ACL Manager is updated to the latest Joomla 3.0 requirements. The ACL Manager interface is using the possibilities of the new Joomla User Interface (JUI) library that is used for the brand new Joomla administrator template 'Isis'.

This library is based on the Bootstrap framework, extended with many other possibilities. Check out www.kyleledbetter.com/jui/ for an impression of the possibilities of this library. Many thanks to Kyle Ledbetter who lead this project, helped by many other community members!

Joomla 3, for Early Adopters

  1. What is great about Joomla 3?
Mobile. Joomla will be the first major, mobile CMS.
  2. Who is Joomla 3 for?
Early adopters. You will be able to build sites with Joomla 3 as soon as it is launched. However, as with the first release of most software, there's no need to rush in and use the first version.
  3. I am on Joomla 2.5. What do I do?
You can stay right where you are for now. Joomla 2.5 is a wonderful version of Joomla and will be supported until 2014.

New version released tomorrow

After the stable version of Joomla 3.0 is released (planned for later today) I will perform some last checks. If no issues emerge ACL Manager 2.2.0 will be released tomorrow. You will be able to install this package on Joomla 2.5 and Joomla 3.0!
