PWT ACL 3.1.0 released - Bug fixes and improvements

Tuesday, 17 July 2018

We are pleased to announce the availability of PWT ACL 3.1.0. This release contains bug fixes, improvements, a new Diagnostics check and updated languages files for Dutch, Catalan, Japanese, Spanish, Thai and Norwegian.

We have received some great response on the release of PWT ACL version 3. Thanks for the enthusiastic reactions! In this update, the reported bugs have been fixed. We also added an additional Diagnostic check. The Diagnostics can now also detect and fix articles with incorrect categories assigned. Often those categories are removed directly from the database or never have been migrated. This missing relation might cause conflicts, so PWT ACL will fix this for you.

Some great efforts have been made by our translators as well. The language files for Dutch, Catalan, Japanese, Spanish, Thai and Norwegian are all updated for the latest version now. You can follow the translation status or contribute translations yourself on our Translations page.

NOTE: Manual update required...

Unfortunately one of the fixed bugs in this release is an issue with the Joomla updater for PWT ACL. If you try to update PWT ACL 3.0.0 to 3.1.0 via the Joomla updater you will get an error "Class 'Uri' not found". The only solution is to Download PWT ACL and install PWT ACL 3.1.0 manually via the Joomla installer.

We apologize for the inconvenience because of this issue!

How to update PWT ACL?

Due to a bug in PWT ACL 3.0.0 you need to download and install the update manually this time. Download PWT ACL and install the package via the Joomla installer.

There is no need to uninstall ACL Manager first. PWT ACL will detect ACL Manager and remove the old version during the update from ACL Manager to PWT ACL.
