Joomla 4 compatibility
PWT ACL is fully compatible for Joomla 4. Not just only for the new interface of Joomla 4 but also for other ACL changes like new API permissions and new features like Joomla workflow. Any ACL permission with Joomla 4 can be configured within seconds via the easy clickable grid of PWT ACL.
Diagnostics support for Joomla workflows
We also extended the diagnostics tool of PWT ACL with new checks. We're checking if the assets for workflows, transitions and stages. All related to the new Joomla workflows feature. Any missing or incorrect asset will be fixed.
PWT ACL 4.0.0 for Joomla 3 and Joomla 4
This release of PWT ACL is compatible with Joomla 3 and Joomla 4, no separate installation packages required. If you run PWT ACL 4.0.0 on Joomla 3.10 you can migrate to Joomla 4.0 without any additional steps / upgrades for PWT ACL. You only want to run PWT ACL diagnostics after the migration to make sure all ACL assets are correct.

It's a big day for the Joomla project. Not only Joomla 4 is released after nine years of work, Joomla also celebrates its 16th birthday (with Joomla 4 as great present)! How to update PWT ACL?
If you have an active subscription you can easily update PWT ACL via the Joomla-updater under Extensions -> Manage -> Update. To use this feature you need to set your "Download ID" in the PWT ACL component options. You can find your personal Download ID on your dashboard. Both the Watchful Download Key as Download ID will work. You can also download PWT ACL and install the package via the Joomla installer.
